A day for “Star Wars” fans

The day came about through a play on words. Many know the saying from the film: “May the force be with you”. That means in English: “May the force be with you”.

The word “force” means power in German. But it sounds similar to the English word for four. And “May” can stand for “may” as well as for the month of May. That is why the saying has already been understood as follows: “We will be with you on May 4th.”

The characters from “Star Wars” want to wish each other luck with the slogan. This happens, for example, before the Jedi Knights go on adventure trips.
