Sir Andy Murray has announced that he will become a father for the third time – and his wife Kim could go to premature birth.
The 32-year-old could already take a break from his tennis comeback next week to attend the birth.
It comes only months after his wife has speculated that she may be pregnant after arriving at Wimbledon. She wears a polka-dot top in maternity style and supports her husband in a mixed double.
Andy Murray, former World Ranking Lister, has announced that he expects his third child with Ms. Kim, who could deliver a baby next week
Kim Sears, 31, speculated when she saw her husband in Wimbledon wearing a spotted maternity top in July
The couple already has two daughters, Sophia, three and Edie, who will be two next month.
Sir Andy from Dunblane, Perthshire, admitted that he has decided to compete at the European Open in Antwerp next week, rather than at the Stockholm Open, which is taking place at the same time as the Belgian city is only a short flight away from home is.
Yesterday, he told The Times, "Obviously, the baby can come from next week at any time.
"I would adjust my schedule if I could not go to Antwerp. My plan is to play against Antwerp and then I'm done with the Davis Cup. If the baby comes early, I would miss Antwerp and then maybe play at the Paris Masters. & # 39;
She had been in the crowd during her husband's mixed double play with Serena Williams
If the baby does not arrive early, Sir Andy said he planned a four-week break after his appearance in Antwerp to welcome the newcomer to his family.
It is not the first time that Sir Andy has risked a big tournament colliding with the birth of his child.
In 2016, there was only a week off between the Australian Open, where Murray was defeated by Novak Djokovic, and the birth of his first child Sophia.
The news comes after a turbulent year for Murray, who feared he would have to stop finally after a hip injury with tennis.
Six months after a successful operation that smoothed his hip and covered it with a metal cap, he triumphantly returned to tennis in June.
Her appearance with an obvious baby bump on successive days of the tournament triggered rumors she was expecting, though the couple did not confirm it yet. She was seen with an outline of a baby bump as she took her place near her mother-in-law Judy, who was wearing a flowing leopard blue shirt dress
His baby news comes just days after the athlete won his first match in a Masters tournament since spring 2017, when he defeated Argentinian Juan Ignacio Londero at the Rolex Shanghai Masters for three sets.
However, he lost then in the last 32 of the tournament against the Italian opponent Fabio Fognini, who was beaten 7: 6, 2: 6, 7: 6.
The pair then broke into a heated row after the Scottish sports star, who was accompanied by his mother at the tournament, had accused his rival of shouting him across the net during a scream.
His remarkable return to the sport was only nine months after he had announced in tears his early retirement due to a hip injury.
32-year-old Sir Andy is now aiming to make the most of a career-preserving hip replacement until early 2020.
He will play the Australian Open in January this year.
He continued, "I've been in great pain for two years after every single game. Now I play a match, the body hurts, I have back pain, the muscles are tired and things like that, but my hip is fine and I could not remember what it was like before.
Kim also wore a black and white striped midi dress at the tennis tournament this summer, which seemed to be hugging her baby bump
"It was hard, but I expected it to be a pretty bumpy road because it was not done in tennis before.
"Once you've done that, you'll find that more athletes have this surgery and return to the competition because there is no reason why you should not be able to. There is no pain. & # 39;
When Kim Sears first appeared in the £ 85 Isabella Oliver, eagle-eye fans used social media to share their theories.
The 32-year-old professional tennis player is currently traveling to Antwerp, Belgium, to attend the European Open
One user wrote, "Does anyone else think there may be a tiny sound of little Murray feet on the way?
"I've thought a few times that Kim looks pregnant at both Wimbledon and a few weeks ago in Queens. Fabulous news, if they are. & # 39;
Another added, "Kim, is that a small bump that I see?"
The couple married in 2015 in Sir Andy's hometown Dunblane, Scotland.
Last year, Andy Murray went on Instagram to show a playful snapshot of his bloody nose, which had been done by his then 10-month-old Edie.
In the caption, he wrote, "When you play with your 10-month-old daughter, it gets a bit too physical."
