Ant McPartlin's estranged wife Lisa Armstrong has reportedly refused a payoff to go to court.
It is alleged that Ant wanted to reach an agreement before I begin A Celebrity, as Lisa is entitled to a portion of Ant's £ 62 million assets.
However, Lisa and Ant may be in court after the make-up artist is said to have rejected the proposed divorce agreement, according to The Daily Mail.
A source close to the couple told The Daily Mail: "Ant was very generous with regard to financial settlement, but Lisa is the opposite of someone motivated by money.
"She wants her day in court."
Lisa and Ant went public with their separation in January 2018, and after eleven years of marriage, took the first step towards divorce nine months later.
Their relationship had come under pressure after Ant became addicted to painkillers after a "botched" knee operation and he was "unbearable to live with", according to his alienated wife.
Ant is "desperate" to reach an agreement before the ITV show begins, and has reportedly tried to initiate new mediation talks so that they can settle it out of court.
But Lisa refuses to be pressured because she believes this is not right and she does not sign a confidentiality agreement, Sun said.
The couple was in dispute over a £ 62m deal and left the arbitration without reaching an agreement last month.
Ant is worried that the case will be returned to the High Court if their lawyers can not find a deal.
He fears that this will lead to a "very public and chaotic divorce hearing" with Lisa.
According to reports, Ant wants to solve the problem before he returns to the jungle on November 17th.
Nevertheless, he recently moved with his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett to a new house in Wimbledon.
