Arsenal and Union meet in a key match

Arsenal will host Unión de Santa Fe today, for the fourth date of Zone 1 of the Professional League Cup (LPF), in which both are escorts for the leader Atlético Tucumán and will seek a victory that will help them qualify for the second competition phase.

Arsenal, without their striker Lucas Albertengo, who suffered a tear in the hamstring in his left leg, will be home from 17.10, at the Julio Humberto Grondona stadium, in Sarandí, with the arbitration of Hernán Mastrángelo.

Coach Sergio Rondina would bet on Facundo Pons to replace Albertengo, who was injured in the last game against Racing, in which Arsenal won 2-0.

Unión, which next Tuesday will play the first leg for the Copa Sudamericana round of 16 in Brazil against Bahia, will put an alternative team in Sarandí.

In addition, the “Tatengue” has three soccer players infected with coronavirus: Matías Nani, Marcos Peano and Nery Laws.

Arsenal and Unión, who equalized without goals in the match between the two in Santa Fe, share second place in Zone 1 of the Professional League Cup, with 4 points, behind leader Atlético Tucumán. Racing closes last.

The first two of each group will go to the championship zone and the other two to the complementation zone.
