Darren Bent has said that Aston Villa striker Wesley wants to get his hair over the penalty failed to score against Norwich City at his car at Carrow Road.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, The Former Villa And England Striker says he's been in the same position as the Brazilian Forward and he could not stop the spot-kick in the days after the game.
Having already scored twice, Wesley saw his chance of a trick to go after Michael McGovern saved the initial penalty before the man blazed the rebound over the bar.
Bent says that while the 22-year-old performed well and got the goals he would have wanted, he suspects that the striker wants to be frustrated about failing to hit the net from 12 yards out.
Bent told Football Insider"It was a great all-round performance but you know what it's all about, I've done that, been on two and not managed to score a penalty and you can not stop thinking about the penalty.
"It's frustrating, but at the end of the day it paid off." the money for him.
"I do not think at times he's played to his strengths and given him but when they have, he's taken them."
Wesley has now scored four goals in eight games for the Villans since his move from Club Brugge over the summer, so having hit the net against Everton and Arsenal.
