Apple is not only a smartphone manufacturer, but it also has a wide variety of products in its catalog, and in addition, the company is also dedicated to strengthening its R&D, which is something that we do not always see materialized in a single final product in the short term.
This 2021, according to a popular leaker, could be the year in which Apple launch a number of new and quite interesting products that have no precedent in the history of the apple company, such as an Augmented Reality device or the so-called AirTags.
Starting with the first, as collected 9to5Mac, It would be an augmented reality device, although it is not known exactly which one. Previously, the leaker from which this information comes has talked about smart glasses that would act as a screen with several applications or services, but that would be dependent on the iPhone for some aspects such as the internet connection. A product that has been talked about for a long time, but that, for the moment we have not seen materialize, will 2021 be the year in which we finally see it?
On the other hand, AirTags would be location devices, in the style Tile, which you could basically leave in a backpack for later geolocate its position using the ‘Find my iPhone’ application. Ideal devices if you want to keep a device, suitcase or anything that is likely to be lost located.
But these would not be the only devices that Apple has prepared in 2021, since it seems that there would be a new AirPods headphones on the way, and it is rumored that they could be called AirPods Pro Lite. These would replace the hitherto known as Airpods, with a design similar to that of the AirPods Pro, integrating a design in-ear which improves the way the headphones fit over the ear, making them somewhat more comfortable.
Regarding other more common products by Apple, it is rumored that the company will continue with the transition to its own processors in the rest of computers, since the Macbook with M1 processor have given great results, and that would lead the company to launch new 14-inch and 16-inch Macbook Pros which would also have mini-LED technology.
As for the iPad, a renewal is also expected, which could arrive in the first quarter of 2021 and that could be a 12.9-inch iPad that would also have mini-LED technology in its panel, and that would initiate the transition of the iPad towards this technology.
