Barcelona striker Luis Suarez wants to go to MLS, according to his Uruguayan team-mate Nicolas Lodeiro.
Lodeiro, who plays at Seattle Sounders, says Suarez, ready to jump across the pond after fulfilling his dream and playing for Barcelona for the past five years.
Suarez & # 39; compatriot says the former Liverpool striker "always" asks for MLS and said it was "just a matter of time" before leaving Barca to fly to Stateside.
Since moving from Liverpool to Barcelona in 2014 for £ 74m, Suarez has won nine major trophies with the Catalan club, including the Champions League in 2015.
Suarez is still in good shape and scored six league goals in nine games this season.
With the striker celebrating his 33rd birthday in January, however, the end of his time at Camp Nou is largely in the foreground, and Barcelona was joined by a dive from Arsenal's Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang to replenish his assailants.
And MLS is the most likely target of Suarez, according to Lodeiro.
"I think you have to convince Barcelona [because] he wants to come to MLS, "said the Sounders midfielder ESPN.
"He always asks me about the league, his dream was to play for Barcelona, he plays at a great level and feels good there."
"Sooner or later, however, he will come to MLS.
"Well, hopefully, he likes the league, he always asks me about it, I think it's only a matter of time before he's here."
Suarez is committed to Barcelona until the summer of 2021 and, according to the football statistics website Transfermarkt already estimated at his age to 45 million pounds.
