The ten Isuzu N35.125s were delivered with a mix of cage dumpers and flatbeds.

Five caged tipper trailers have been put into service at the Biffa Gorton depot.

"Initially, we took an Isuzu demonstration for evaluation purposes and it was well received by the team here," says Steve Lea from Biffa.

"It has proven to be reliable on the job, so we've taken over these five new Grafters for the council contract here in Manchester."

"Undoubtedly, the Isuzus are extremely useful and will be our focal point for this type of application in the future," he adds.

The other five have a mix of cradle and flatbed bodies and are in operation in central London. They feature reversing cameras with in-cab monitors and left-turn audible warning systems.

Colin Bagnall, Biffa's Fleet Project Engineer, says, "With the London ULEZ, we knew we had to replace some non-compliant vehicles, and the Euro VI Isuzu Grafter Green met our compliance requirements perfectly."
