In the traditional shareholders conferenceActivision Blizzard has presented its plans for all of its franchises. In the case at hand, Diablo, they reiterated again that the release of Diablo Immortal and Diablo II: Resurrected is still scheduled for 2021.
With the recent alpha closed, Diablo Immortal is having a much deeper test run and we are seeing the game starting to get closer to what could be a final version (unless they release 200 more systems). The same feeling left us with Diablo II: Resurrected in the technical alpha of early April, where we could see how well polished the game is already.
Although they are just reiterations of information that we already knew, it is always good that the original plans go ahead and that there do not appear to be any delays.
As for Diablo IV, it has been mentioned that they have brought in a lot of developers (probably from Vicarious Visions) and that the internal goals are being met. Which, again, leaves us with a good taste in the mouth.
Do we bet on when D: I and D2R will come out?
