The prime minister of UK, Boris Johnson, presented a plan established as “prudent”, to carry out the lifting of the lockdown total with the opening of schools.
Currently, the country counts more than 120 thousand deaths, even the hospitals in the moments of greatest number of cases, were on the verge of collapse.
“Our plan relies on a cautious and prudent approach to exiting the lockdown irreversibly, from now on we want to go in one direction only, “he said.
The president explained that the first stage includes the opening of schools on March 8; the second is scheduled for March 29, which will begin with the lifting of restrictions on “stay at home”, so that outdoor meetings can be held.
Non-essential businesses, at the same time, may open but in open spaces; cinemas and museums will have to wait until April 12 to open, while hotels will do so until May 17.
Boris Johnson, assured that the decision was made largely due to the effectiveness of the vaccines, and the recommendations made by the government health area.
