US-President Donald Trump has promised Britain after a Brexit a "fantastic" trade agreement with the US. Trump said he had spoken to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson the day before in Morristown, New Jersey. Johnson and he are all in line.
"I think we will make a fantastic and big deal with the UK." Trump emphasized the "fantastic relationship" between the two countries. Britain is one of the US's closest allies, Trump stressed.
Johnson wants to lead the UK out of the European Union on October 31 – "come what may." He threatens to leave without an agreement if Brussels does not agree to his request for changes to the exit agreement negotiated with his predecessor Theresa May.
However, the EU rejects changes strictly. This increases the danger of a no-deal-Brexit that would damage the economy and many other areas of life.
