by Ilse Romahn
(22.02.2021) The online discussion, to which the Evangelical Academy is hosting on Thursday, February 25th, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., will focus on Britain’s exit from the EU and the consequences.
What measures need to be taken after Brexit to avert consequential economic damage? Is there a threat of political and cultural alienation of the country from the European continent and can this be counteracted? It should be about questions like these.
The opening debate will be led by: Jochen Buchsteiner, FAZ correspondent, London; Jeannine Budelmann, entrepreneur (Budelmann Elektronik), deputy chairwoman of the Junior Economics Germany and Professor Claudia Wiesner, Jean Monnet Chair, University of Fulda. The Frankfurt business journalist Christian Preiser will moderate.
Margrit Frölich, Head of Studies for Film, Business and Transatlantic Dialogue at the Evangelical Academy and Achim Güssgen-Ackva, Hessian State Center for Political Education, lead the event, which the Academy realizes in cooperation with the Hessian State Center for Political Education.
