Britain: An alternative AstraZeneca vaccine is offered for individuals under the age of 30

A British government committee indicated that an alternative to the “AstraZeneca” vaccine would be offered to individuals under the age of 30, after evidence emerged of a link between the vaccine and rare blood clots.

The Intergovernmental Committee on Vaccination and Immunization added that healthy adults between the ages of 18 and 29 who do not have health problems should be offered an alternative vaccine when available.
