Bruno Fernandes, target of Tottenham Hotspur, replied to Gedson Fernandes’ new Instagram post about his happiness in signing for the club.
Spurs signed an agreement to sign Gedson on Wednesday on an initial 18-month loan from Benfica; have the option to purchase it at the end of that spell.
He later brought to Instagram, posting a photo of himself with the Spurs shirt.
He wrote: “A new chapter will begin! Thanks, @SpursOfficial for the opportunity, I’m ready. “
And a number of players responded with messages of goodwill for the 21-year-old.
Perhaps most intriguing, however, is Bruno’s answer.
Writing in his native Portuguese, his answer translates to: “Go with everything, boy.”
Football FanCast sources confirmed that the club is attempting to make a deal to bring the Sporting Lisbon director to the club as well, sending a delegation to London to meet the Portuguese group’s representatives.
Should Levy spend £ 60 million on Bruno Fernandes?
Manchester United is also interested, but Spurs is trying to find a way to bring him to North London, with the possibility of sending Juan Foyth to the other side.
The big and big Tottenham quiz of 2019: how much do you remember of the last year at Spurs?
Spurs would have had to pay around € 60 million (£ 51.2 million) to get him in and his response may have wowed supporters of the prospect of his potential arrival.
One has to wonder if the second Fernandes will be holding a Spurs shirt at the end of the transfer window.
Meanwhile, a new club has entered the competition to sign a big Spurs star!
