We are delighted to announce the upcoming concerts of Lucifer in Spain presenting “Lucifer III”.
Lucifer are characterized by their heavy Hard Rock sound from the seventies with a good dose of Heavy Metal and Doom Rock. His biggest influences come from bands like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Blue Öyster Cult, Lucifer’s Friend, Steppenwolf, 70’s Heart, and Fleetwood Mac.
Founded in 2014 in Berlin by Johanna Sadonis, the group first had members from Cathedral, Angel Witch and Ladytron in the line-up. His first single ‘Anubis’ and his debut album ‘Lucifer I’ were written by Sadonis and Gerry Jennings of Cathedral (Rise Above), gaining international recognition almost immediately.
For chapter two, Johanna moved from Berlin to Stockholm where she found Nicke Andersson, noted for his groups The Hellacopters, Entombed, Imperial State Electric or Death Breath among others, the perfect companion to write her music. Together they wrote ‘Lucifer II’, produced by Nick in his own studio in the summer of 2017.
Critically acclaimed, with ‘Lucifer II’ (Century Media) the band entered the sales charts in Sweden, Germany, UK and America.
In the midst of a relentless world tour, the group returned to Nick’s studio in Stockholm to record ‘Lucifer III’, which was released on March 20, right at the start of the pandemic.
With their powerful single “Ghosts” released in January it became clear that the group is ready to climb to the top of Mount Olympus Rock. If you haven’t seen the monster Lucifer has become, you’d better get your ticket to one of his upcoming concerts in Bilbao, Murcia, Madrid or Barcelona! Is Rock and Roll Dead? Long life to rock and roll!
