The fans voted and there was never any doubt. The lightsaber of Cal Kestis rules and now it will travel to the planet Batuu.
After several weeks of voting, during which fans could weigh up the next legacy lightsaber that would be available through Disney’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Theme parks, the main character of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order was announced as the winner. His saber will be available later this year along with those of Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano of The Clone Wars. (You can see these photos at this link.) All three join an already sturdy collection of sabers from Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Darth Maul, and others.
Cal’s saber beat the sabers of Anakin Skywalker, Qui-Gon Jinn, Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, and Lord Corvax – strongly suggesting that video gamers of all ages wanted the chance to have a slice of this world they enjoyed on their PCs to hold and consoles. Here’s a closer look.

While I personally didn’t vote for the Cal saber, there is no doubt that it is absolutely one of the best looking sabers out there war of stars. It’s just so raw and bad-looking. It is the perfect saber for a padawan who is forced to leave the Jedi Order under Order 66 in order to later find his purpose as a true Jedi.
Of course, you can also change Cal’s saber, change its shape and color, or even add a second blade in the game. It doesn’t seem like any of this comes into play. This is just the good old basic saber.
These sabers will mainly be available at Disneyland or Walt Disney World Galaxy’s Edge when it is open or nearby shops. Galaxy Edge Merch is now also available online worldwide, but there is no guarantee these new sabers will show up there.
