Capital One will soon offer its cardholders an advantage long loved by American Express card owners.
The credit card company recently announced that it will open its first premium lounge at Washington DC’s Dulles International Airport.
The salon is slated to open next year at the base of the former airport control tower, View from the wing ratios.
A Capital One statement said:
“Capital One has won an offer to bring the bank’s first airport lounge to customers traveling through Washington Dulles International Airport, a few miles from their office.
“When it opens next year, the Dulles airport lounge will be another way in which Capital One offers our customers unique travel benefits, along with exclusive access and experiences, in areas they are passionate about.”
The lounge is designed to cover 9,100 square feet of space, is located beyond the airport’s TSA security checkpoint and is managed by the Turkish company TAV Airports, which also manages the Prime Class lounges internationally.
Facilities should include an observation platform, dining room, work spaces, conference room, relaxation room, gym, showers, spa services and a children’s playroom.
