HOUSTON – The organization Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is receiving requests for assistance for people affected by last week’s winter storm.
The aid consists of financial assistance for those who had damage to their homes due to the cold that impacted pipes.
The request can only be made online and you can fill out the form here.
The deadline to request help is next Friday, February 26.
The organization is giving priority to homes led by single mothers or fathers with children, families with five or more children, immigrants or refugees, people over 60 years old and those with some type of disability.
After the storm comes the calm, and with it a federal aid so that you can recover the money that you took out of your pocket because of the low temperatures. In addition, we will tell you why dozens of planes will remain on the ground. And Chapo’s wife falls!
