Chase’s onlookers were stunned when the contestant reveals her age – and Bradley Walsh can’t believe it

The Chase returned to our screens Wednesday evening while Bradley Walsh welcomed a new installment in the hit series.

But everyone who was looking at home was completely flabbergasted by one thing: the age of a competitor.

Every week, the former Coronation Street actor and the current Doctor Who Bradley star welcome four contestants on the hit show.

He welcomes them as they try to change their lives by landing a huge and tempting sum of money.

And during the episode of Wednesday May 20, one of these stars competing against The Chaser was a mother of six.

But viewers couldn’t believe his age – and neither could Brad!

Unfortunately, Pippa returned home with nothing after failing to pass The Chaser after accepting the challenge of making a higher offer.

He failed in an attempt to get £ 56,000 for his teammates.

But after revealing that he was 51, viewers flocked to have their say on social media.

Twitter and Facebook were both inundated with comments from those who tuned in to ITV1 from home as the scenes unfolded.

Viewers were left to mark his “fantastic” and “fantastic”, while a third joke needed to adjust their television.

Brad returns with The Chase on ITV1 tonight (Thursday May 21), from 5:00 pm.
