The Empire State Building (ESB) today announced the details of its annual holiday celebrations. Guests who purchase tickets to visit the world-famous observatory on the 86th and 102nd floors will see more than just the iconic views. This holiday season, take Lonely Planet’s recommendation to visit the Empire State Building Observatory, New York’s No. 1 attraction.
It is the best time of the year for fans of Star Wars(TM) to take advantage of the visit to the ESB observatory. The seasonal window display of the ESB on Fifth Avenue, which is only visible to the tenants of the ESB and visitors to the ESB observatory when leaving the observatory, shows 3D LEGO® models of the Star Wars – kits, including the AT-AT kits(TM), Snowspeeder(TM), The Child(TM), The Razor Crest(TM), Sith TIE Fighter(TM), Poe Damerons X-Wing Fighter(TM) und die Millennium Falcon(TM) set up in a winter wonderland with dazzling LED lights. The modern window will also be adorned with clear geometric shapes and textures as well as a video screen on the festive LEGO® Star Wars Vacation video scenes are played.
The ESB holiday season is also celebrated with a first-ever photo opportunity for family holiday portraits. From November 30th through December 4th, families and guests are invited to make the Empire State Building the backdrop for their 2020-2021 Holiday Card. When purchasing a premium ticket for the observatory on the 102nd floor, guests choose a time slot in which they can have themselves professionally photographed on the grand staircase in the lobby of the observatory.
