Chelsea overcame a determined performance of Auszeitpezialisten crystal Palace on Saturday lunchtime to rise above the reigning champions Manchester City in second place in the Premier League Table.

In the first half, the hosts were frustrated by an organized team from the Palace, who wanted to push into the top six with a victory on Stamford Bridge.

But the blues showed patience beyond their young years, breaking the crowd short before the hour, when Tammy Abraham clung to a cute Willian pass to break the deadlock.

The goal was the tenth victory of the season of the English striker, with whom he reached next to Jamie Vardy from Leicester City the top spot in the Premier League.

Christian Pulisic finished the game with his fifth goal in three games when Chelsea scored for the first time in a row since May 2017 under Antonio Conte a victory in the Premier League.
