According to Mercato365, Chelsea scouts had watched Gaston Gerard at the Stade and were impressed by two Dijon players.
One of them was the scorer Chouiar, who plays as a striker for Les Moutardes.
The other was Bryan Soumare, who is a midfielder – but according to Mercato, they also caught the attention of Barcelona.
Chelsea is currently banning the transfer and has already gone through a window without signing players.
If the blues do not appeal, it means that January will miss another month on the transfer market.
However, next summer, the Stamford Bridge outfit may throw in the necessary small change.
