Chessington World of Adventures will open two new attractions this spring

The UK theme park Chessington World of Adventures has announced that it will open two new attractions this year.

Joining the other 10 lands in the theme park will be the rainforest.

This adventure-packed land allows families to explore the rainforest by road during the Jungle Rangers tour or by the river during the River Rafts mini-trunks ride.

For those who aren’t afraid of heights, Treetop Hoppers allows you to explore the crown of trees while spotting large and small creatures including turtles and capybara.

All shore excursions in the rainforest will be educational, aimed at teaching young adventurers about our rain forests and the need to protect them.

The installation was inspired by Chessington’s work with the World Land Trust (WLT) conservation charity.

In 2020, Elmer’s Flying Jumbos will arrive in Chessington, an aerial carousel ride based on the patchwork elephant preferred by all Elmer.

Young park guests can choose their favorite colored elephant and fly over the rainforest enjoying beautiful park views.

The new land will open in March 2020 where it will join the other lands of the theme park.

Highlights of Chessington include Land of the Dragons, where kids can play in Dragon’s Playhouse or soar through the skies of Dragon’s Fury’s roller coaster.

If you are a thrill seeker, go to the Tomb Blaster in the Forbidden Kingdom – an Egyptian mummy-themed maze tour that is perceived as “a dark and scary ride”.

Younger kids will love Adventure Point, especially if they are fans of Julia Donaldson’s Room on the Broom!

Elsewhere in the park, children and adults can learn about different animals at the Chessington Zoo which houses over 1,000 animals including Lions, Tires and Giraffes or the marine life center.

Save by booking online park tickets in advance, where they cost £ 29.50
