Coleen Rooney publishes a sweet family photo from the bed after spending the birthday at home

Coleen and Wayne Rooney shared a sweet snap of themselves as they hugged their four children to bed in the morning after his birthday.

The boys Kai, 10, Klay, 6, Kit, 4, and his younger Cass, two, were not in the mood for lying to parents and stacking up for early pampering.

Coleen posted the beautiful Instagram photo in the early morning with the children packed in their bed before 7 in the morning.

It was the morning after the celebrations for his birthday, but there was no possibility of sleeping more the day before after the former England captain had promised to do it a day to remember.

The black and white family shot shows the clan a morning cuddle before the parents got ready one day to make them all happy at home.

Coleen wrote the post: “Good morning. I hope everyone is safe.”

Fans of the couple clearly started the day by lighting up by seeing them all together.

“Look at them – all mom’s kids. You have such a lovely family,” wrote one.

“Wonderful family. Stay safe and stay sane,” another posted in the comments section.

Both stayed calm on social media on Friday as they spent some family time at their home, apart from a photo of Coleen treated with a cake.

A source told Heat last month that Wayne was determined to push the boat this year after 12 difficult months.

“Wayne is determined to make sure Coleen has the best birthday ever and really wants to show her that he’s a completely changed man,” said an insider last month.

“Some of his past birthdays have had some drama surrounding them, as well as tensions between them, due to Wayne’s behavior.

Choices of the Showbiz editor

“So, he is eager to take her away for a romantic mini break, as soon as he has a free space in his journal, and he really ruins it.

“He’s thinking about a trip to Dubai – just the two of them – if his schedule allows, or somewhere closer to home.”

Wayne is still waiting to hear when he returns to service with Derby County.

The footballer does not know if his team’s season will start again or if the championship season will be abandoned due to the coronavirus epidemic.
