Mexico City. The Chamber of Deputies reported the death of its director of Interinstitutional Relations and Protocol, Samuel Rodríguez Mora, who died of covid-19.
In addition to the official, since the declaration of the pandemic, 13 chamber workers and a federal deputy have died. As a result of the weekly tests, 295 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, of which 73 are legislators and the rest are chamber personnel.
“I deeply regret the sensitive death of our dear Samuel Rodríguez, who was director of Protocol in the chamber and my friend for thirty years. You leave a huge void in us. Rest in peace, ”said the president of the Board of Directors, Dulce María Sauri Riancho (PRI), in a message on her Twitter account.
The legislator stressed that Rodríguez Mora will be remembered “for his seriousness, care and punctual fulfillment of his responsibilities, his characteristic stamp.
