In its report issued by Twitter, the Ministry of Public Health reported that there were five new deaths from Covid-19 and 799 positive cases, out of 2,748 samples. He indicated that all the cases are community-based.
According to the report, there are 656 internees, of which 126 are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Confirmed cases climbed to 75,857 and deaths to 1,652.
On the other hand, there were 486 recovered, thus adding 53,988.
Regarding the deceased, three were women and two men. The age group was one from 40 to 59 years old and the rest from 60 and up. They came from Central, Asunción, Caaguazú and Alto Paraná. For the first time in many weeks, fewer than 10 fatalities are reported from the coronavirus.

The Minister of Health, Julio Mazzoleni, warned that there was a 10% increase in cases in the last week, which was a rebound after weeks of a plateau. He expressed his concern as the trend is for it to repeat itself during the last week of November.
The increase in infections occurred mainly in Central and Asunción. Lambaré surpassed its historic milestone in the last seven days.
With respect to the rest of the departments, Misiones and Cordilleras were the most affected, specifically in Ayolas and Caacupé, respectively. While Itapúa continues with a decrease in cases and the other departments are in a stable situation.

Just this Saturday the bishop of Caacupé, Ricardo Valenzuela, asked the parishioners not to visit the Virgin this time and avoid crowds.
Despite this, Paraguay has one of the lowest death rates from Covid-19 in the region. That is why Mazzoleni insisted on the need to comply with sanitary measures.
