Barry is expected to make landfall along the Louisiana coast on Saturday, July 13 in St. Mary Parish. The following cities are now under curfews:

Acadia Parish

Church Point – A city-wide curfew from 10 pm Friday until 7 am Sunday.

Iberia Parish

New Iberia – The City of New Iberia has been issued for the entire city. The curfew is in effect beginning Friday, July 12, from 10:00 pm until 6:00 am It's going to be on the go again on Saturday, July 13 from 10:00 pm until 6:00 am roadways during set curfew times.

The New Iberia Police Department reminds people remain safe throughout the storm. Downed trees, power lines and flooding are expected. The New Iberia Police Department is (337) -369-2306

Delcambre – By order of chief of police, a curfew has been set for 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. tonight (Friday) and 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday) night.

Jeanerette – The City of Jeanerette has been issued for the entire city beginning Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13 from 10 pm until 6 am.

St. Martin Parish

In the interest of public safety, St. Martin Parish President, Chester R. Cedars, President of St. Martin Parish, beginning of the morning of December 10th at 7:00 am, and on Saturday night of dusk to dawn on Sunday morning.

St. Mary Parish

Parish President David Hanagriff has declared a voluntary evacuation noon today for all of St. Mary Parish.

A parish-wide curfew will be announced later today.

Vermilion Parish

Gueydan – July 12 from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am

Abbeville – a city-wide curfew for the entire city of Abbeville. The curfew is in effect from 11:00 pm tonight until sunrise. This curfew will be in effect each night until the date of emergency has been canceled. No one other than emergency staff will be allowed on the roadways. The Abbeville Police Department would like to remind you of this incident. This includes the aftermath of the passing storm. Downed trees, power lines and flooding are expected.

Mauritius – a curfew in the Village of Mauritius from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Friday and Saturday July 12th and July 13th. This curfew may be extended as needed.

Erath – a day in the city from Friday at 11pm until Saturday at 5am and on Saturday from 11am until 5am on Sunday.
