Daisy Ridley would love to play Spider-Woman in Sony’s Spider-verse

Daisy Ridley, Rey in the Star Wars saga, would love to be able to play Spider-Woman for Sony.

Besides getting Spider-Man to finally belong to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Tom Holland, Sony’s plans regarding this Marvel comics icon go far beyond the “main story” of this character, of whom he intends to make his entire Spider-verse known.

And I don’t just want to do it through his villains, like the Venom movie with Tom Hardy or the Morbius movie with Jared Leto, but also thanks to well-known characters in comics like Spider-Woman, which is getting her own solo movie directed by Olivia Wilde of which it is not yet known who will be its protagonist.

At first, when the project was awarded to Breaking Bad director Michelle McLaren, it was rumored that Alicia Vikander had been chosen but The internet decided to do its own casting choosing Daisy Ridley (Rey in the last Star Wars trilogy) as Spider-Woman, however now that the project has passed into the hands of Wilde it is unknown who will star in it.

In fact, Ridley seems to be out of the question because as he has published in his Twitter journalist Sarah Wilson, the actress knew nothing about the Spider-Woman projectYes, as soon as it has been explained to him, he has signed up without hesitation.

This pack includes all the Spider-Man movies to date, including Tobey Maguire’s and Tom Holland’s new MCU movies.

“What many of you have been waiting for a long time: I asked Daisy Ridley about the rumors of participation in Spider-Women. She asked what I meant and I explained everything.” OMG, I would love to play Spider-Women. Is it something like an extended universe? “ I have spoken to him about the possibility of it becoming a kind of MCU and I have asked him if he would agree to enter a franchise well, she has told me, “yes of course, of course”. He told me he loved Spider-Man: A New Universe and that he is into Scarlet Witch and Vision very much, so yeah, he would love to be in another franchise. But he hadn’t heard anything about the Spider-Women rumors, I had to explain everything to him. ”
