Before she sat on the ice for the second time, she began to say goodbye and said, "You know what, sometimes you have to admit that you are not the best and the best continue.

"But I really enjoyed tonight."

After her routine she added: "Save me skate": "We have not practiced it for weeks, so I'm sorry.

"I feel really bad, Saira [Khan] went last week.

"I really have to go now, I'm exhausted, too."

After the cricketer Ryan skated, the ice plate unanimously voted to save him and send Gemma home.

The 38-year-old's nemesis, Jason Gardiner, said, "It's very easy to say so, and it gives me great pleasure to say that I'm going to rescue Ryan and Brandee."

However, Ashley Banjo praised her efforts and added, "Outside the competition, you have to deal with real garbage online that's so well-done to cope with all this."

Gemma thanked her when she stood next to her professional partner Matt Evers and admitted it was time to "speak graciously".

She said, "I had fun, I had a bit of intuition and I said my night tonight and that's why I'll just come out and have fun.

"I just want to bow gracefully now, it's time to let them all go on, I wish them well, they work so hard."

But honestly, when Holly asked Willoughby if she would continue to skate, Gemma said, "Probably not no, but you know what? I enjoyed working on my fitness."

The star, who has lost more than two stones in the show, then sat down on the ice for a lap of honor before hugging their fellow stars.

Previously, Gemma had played in front of Destiny's Childs Survivor, but only secured 15.5 points.

Jason also turned on her "lame" routine, leading audiences to believe that the panel had a "vendetta" against the star.
