A kind of dark soldier[2] It was worn by the Imperial remnant of Moff Gideon. The black armored soldiers were equipped with tubes, chest control panels, and special helmets, and were based on a class command cruiser Architects modified inside some barracks. After a skirmish on Nevarro caused the destruction of an Imperial base, a communications officer reported to Moff Gideon, who was supervising dark soldiers[1] immobilized[2] in their barracks along with a group of scientists, that a tracker was installed in the Razor Crest.[1]

Behind the scenes

This type of dark soldier first appeared in “Chapter 12: The Siege,” the fourth episode of the second season of the Disney + live-action television series. The Mandalorian,[1] which originally premiered on November 20, 2020.[3] It was identified as such in the audio description for the episode on Disney +,[2] though it is uncertain whether that was intended to be the name of the dark armored soldiers or just a physical description.
