Decrease in covid cases in the Region of Murcia with 273 positives and 7 deaths in the last hours

The number of affected is below 10,000 and the number of patients admitted to hospitals falls below 500


The Region of Murcia has recorded 273 positives for coronavirus in the last 24 hours and the death of 7 patients in a day in which 3,228 tests have been carried out, which gives a positivity rate of 8.45%, very similar to that registered the day before, according to data provided by the Ministry of Health.

The current number of affected in the Murcian community falls below 10,000 and stands at 9,743, 313 less than the previous day, and 51,666 the count since the beginning of the pandemic, while the death toll shows the figure of 552.

The Region of Murcia today has 9,270 people in home isolation and 473 patients admitted to hospitals (27 less than on Friday), 103 of them in intensive care, two less than the previous day.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of cured patients amounts to 39,665 and the number of tests carried out amounts to 556,472, of which 477,494 are PCR / antigens and the rest are antibodies.

Of the 273 new cases, 45 correspond to the municipality of Totana, 43 to Murcia, 30 to Lorca, 28 to Cartagena, 20 to Yecla, 13 to Alhama de Murcia, 12 to Caravaca de la Cruz, 11 to Jumilla, 11 to Mazarrón, 9 to Torre Pacheco, and 6 to Alcantarilla. The rest are distributed among various locations.

The seven deceased are 6 men and a woman aged between 74 and 89 years, and neighbors of Murcia (3) and the rest of Cehegín, San Javier, Lorca and Totana.
