The food delivery service Deliveroo is coming to Cornwall.
The app service, which allows customers to order food from local restaurants and has delivered it to their door, will launch in Falmouth next month.
Deliveroo was first launched in 2013 and now operates in over 500 cities and across 14 markets, including Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and the United Kingdom.
But Falmouth, which has a thriving student population, wants to get the first place in Cornwall to get the service.
Deliveroo is looking for car, bicycle, scooter or motorbike riders or drivers to deliver food from restaurants across the town.
Harrison Foster, Deliveroo's UK regional director, said: "We've seen a huge demand for delivery in Falmouth and we're excited to be launching next month; we're really excited to create new work opportunities for local people.
"The team is looking for people with passion, drive and great customer service, who are seeking the added benefit of flexible hours among other perks. We would encourage anyone looking for an almost paced and active job to apply through our website. "
Deliveroo says it's focused on providing the ultimate food delivery experience.
Eateries, traditional takeaways and high-quality chain restaurants, delivered to their homes.
No details have been published about the restaurants and cafes in Falmouth.
New riders are automatically enrolled in a first-of-its-kind free insurance package to ensure they are all covered while out on the road.
