The national deputy Victoria Donda (We are) on Friday headed a distinction of that institution to the British heavy metal group Iron maiden, which will play this Saturday at the Vélez Sarsfield Stadium as part of their tour “Legacy of the beast”(Legacy of the beast).

The musicians Bruce Dickinson, Nicko McBrain Y Janick Gers, on behalf of the band, they received in the hall of the Lost Steps the distinction of honor for their visit to Argentina, according to a resolution of the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation.

In an act that lasted just over 25 minutes, Donda said that "rock was the channel of expression for many missing and disappeared young people in the 70s and also for many postponed in the 90s."

The event was attended by members of the band, musicians of the local heavy scene and specialized media.

The ceremony culminated with the delivery of six plates, one to each musician, and the three present received those that went on behalf of their partners Steve Harris, Dave Murray Y Adrian Smith.
