Each May 4th is celebrated on Day of Star Wars, and as is customary on the part of Disney, the company is preparing a surprises series around new projects of the franchise.
Due to the global pandemic by Covid-19, the festivities of last year left much to be desired, so the mouse company is doing everything possible for this to be a special occasion.
On the one hand we will have the sequel to The Clone Wars from Dave Filoni, entitled: The Bad Batch. which will premiere tomorrow with a 70-minute pilot episode, and will take place after the emergence of the Empire, where we will see the Clone Force 99 adapting to the new and dark times. We will also have the opportunity to glimpse old faces known as Captain Rex, Fennec Shand, Ercho and Darth Sidious.
However, this will not be the only new content in the franchise, since in Disney+ we can also observe a crossover with The Simpsons, which will star the baby of the famous family, as the title of the short film indicates: Maggie Simpson in the The Force Awakens From Its Nap.
Also by Disney+ will be released Star Wars Biomes, which is described as a vacation adventure through the most iconic and beloved locations of Hoth, Tatooine and Sorgan, something similar to what we can observe in Star Wars Vehicle Flythroughs, where you will take a look at the interiors of the most beloved vehicles in the series, such as the Millennium Falcon or the Imperial-class Star Destroyer.
It is rumored that Lucasfilm could reveal previously unpublished images from many of his current projects, such as the series of Obi Wan Kenobi.
