It’s not all Star Wars, Marvel, and FOX at Disney lately. Although the giant seems focused on adding content to its streaming platform, Disney’s role in California is going to have a high-level impact. And it is that in addition to adapting to the measures against COVID-19, as they make clear in their official Web, the company is reopening its park in California to become a mass vaccination center.
Andrew Do, President of Orange County, has commented:
“The Disneyland Resort brings large-scale employment to Orange County, takes a step forward, and becomes the world’s first immunization super-center. We sincerely appreciate the support of the fire department, cities, and residents while they have place vaccinations against COVID-19 throughout our territory. “
These mass vaccination centers ensure that they get thousands of citizens to receive their dose every day, which will speed up the process and will be of great help to, to a great extent, restore normalcy, something that will greatly benefit Disney (too).
