Enclave weather prevents playing in the US and Mexico softball series

The three-game softball series between the United States and Mexico was canceled due to bad weather in Dallas.

Both teams have qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the United States is the world champion.

The best team in the world are also the Americans.

All three games were scheduled to take place at the Texas Rangers Major League Baseball Youth Academy yesterday, today and tomorrow and were a valuable warm-up exercise before the games.

USA Softball said the team will continue to train indoors due to the adverse weather, with sessions closed to the public to protect against the spread of Kovid-19.

The Mexican team has been training in the United States for several weeks and will travel to California after the exhibition matches.

When softball returns to the Tokyo Olympics later this year, six teams will compete: hosts Japan, Australia, Canada and Italy, and the United States and Mexico.

The United States team won three of the four Olympic softball gold medals previously awarded, but Beijing lost to Japan in the 2008 final, the last time they played softball at the Games.

This is the first time that Mexico has qualified for the Olympic softball tournament.
