NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) – The evacuation order for Norfolk, Nebraska, has been lifted with immediate effect.

The city's communications officer, Liz Wallace, sent the message to the media on Friday morning.

Norfolk officials said emergency shelters may begin demobilizing and discharging citizens into their homes.

Companies can open up and return to normal operation.
