Ewan McGregor you’re ready to play everyone’s favorite Jedi: Obi-Wan Kenobi. This month the filming of the new series of Disney+, titled Obi-Wan Kenobi, and McGregor has already prepared: not only has he become very strong, he has also his characteristic beard.

This photo of McGregor with his friends has nothing to do with Star Wars, but knowing that filming will begin this April, allows us to see the look that the actor will have in the series

Ewan McGregor played Obi-Wan in the prequel trilogy between 1999 and 2005. When the series premieres in 2022, 17 years will have passed since its last appearance. In 50 years, McGregor will be closer to the 62 that Alec Guinness had during his first portrayal of Ben Kenobi in Star Wars, in 1976.

McGregor will reunite with Hayden Christensen, who in the prequels was Anakin (and here he will be, of course, Darth Vader). Will we see him without the helmet in some kind of flashback? Kenobi’s cast includes Moses Ingram, Indira Varma, Joel Edgerton, and Bonnie Piesse.

These last two played the young Owen y Beru Lars in Episodes II and III, so it is guaranteed that we will return to the Lars farm on Tatooine, where we will surely see a child Luke Skywalker …
