The ex-wife of Davina McCall's hairdresser Michael Douglas reportedly burst into tears when the couple had rumors of romance.
Davina, 51, is said to be dating her longtime buddy Michael, 45, whom she has known for more than 20 years.
Now, a new report suggests that Michael's former partner and mother of his two children, Tracey Douglas, 50, was "devastated" to learn more about the allegations.
The Sun reports that Tracey, who split from Michael in 2017, broke down in tears when she refused to talk about the rumored romance.
One source added, "Davina … was the last person Tracey ever thought would end Michael.
"It was a devastating blow to Tracey to find out they were meeting and showing off their new relationship in public."
The news of the potential new relationship comes two years after the collapse of Davina's marriage.
Separated from her 17-year-old husband, Matthew Robinson, in 2017, she recently admitted to making a career and being a mother of three has made her a "difficult prospect" for new men.
The star said, "I've been in a relationship for 20 years and there's a lot more to think about for me than finding a date.
"Life is different. I have three children and a career. Not many people ask women like me for appointments.
"It would need someone who does not mind all those special challenges."
But she insists she does not need a man in her life to be happy.
She added: "Women are only truly happy and in good condition when they have a partner. Why is single considered a bad thing?
"I was on dates – but can not a woman be single and happy?"
The television presenter is the mother of three children – Holly, 17, Tilly, 15 and 12 years old, Chester.
