Fallen Order now hits 60fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S

Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm announced new next-generation enhancements for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order arriving in a performance update for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S.

Below are all the patch notes according to a statement:

High-level feature summary:

  • Improved FPS speed on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5
  • Improved dynamic resolution ranges for a higher resolution experience on Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5
  • Improved post-processing resolution for Xbox Series X and PS5. (No Xbox Series S)

Console details:

Xbox Series S

  • FPS rate increased to 60 FPS (was 45 FPS)

Xbox Series X performance mode

  • The FPS rate has been increased to 60 FPS.
  • Added dynamic resolution in the range of 1080p to 1440p

Xbox Series X normal mode (no performance mode)

  • Post-processing has been increased to 4K
  • Dynamic resolution in the range of 1512p to 2160p

PlayStation 5

  • FPS rate increased to 60 FPS (was 45 FPS)
  • Post-processing increased to 1440p
  • Dynamic resolution has been disabled and the game is playing at 1200p (instead of 810-1080p)

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available on PS5, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
