Father makes the ultimate dream come true for his children

An absolute dream for every child and every Zelda fan, regardless of age, is this construction project by a father who is very talented in his craft. Since the accompanying video is also very charming, this story warms the heart and also creates a little envy.

The term “playhouse” does not really do justice to this building project. A father builds for his children the home of Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and creates a place to play that many children (and some adults) are sure to dream of.

From the sign in front of the house to the decorations in the interior, everything is self-built and extremely professional. With great attention to detail the father builds the entire house with his helpers from beams and panels and documents the construction in a video, based on a quest from the game. The result is more than impressive, which is why the 16 minutes of the video are really worth it:

Father Donovan runs one YouTube-Channel on which he his Construction projects with a constant geek influence presents. There are many more videos on the channel that immediately bring the thought “I want that too” flash. For example there is a Star Wars-themed desk or these boots, on which he tattoos the Marauder’s card from Harry Potter.

If you are equally gifted you can get the blueprints for Link’s house here for $ 60. Then all you need is a truckload of building materials, drills, saws, grinders, milling machines, paints, brushes, spray guns, a 3D printer, talent and after a few little things, all things which everyone has in their garage anyway.

If that’s too much work for you, you can just enjoy the video and then play a little Breath of the Wild. Next, hopefully Father Donovan’s Hyrule Castle will be tackled.
