FC Barcelona – La Liga Following his meniscus surgery
Ansu Fati was discharged from hospital on Friday afternoon after successfully undergoing surgery on Monday by Dr. Ramon Cugat.
The Barcelona youngster picked up a meniscus injury in his left knee against Real Betis last weekend and is set to be sidelined for four months.
The doctors considered that, due to the condition of the joint, the best option for his recovery to be successful was to suture the meniscus.
Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman has lost an important cog in his Barcelona attack as Fati had managed to net five goals and give three assists so far this season.
The Barcelona academy product also debuted for Spain under Luis Enrique who called him up for the current international break. However, Fati had to withdraw after picking up the injury against Betis.
