Leaks and rumors about iMacs are slowly revealing what Apple’s new multifunction computers can offer. They appear to be much taller than the previous generation.
New iMacs from Apple are expected in the coming months and we still know little about these machines. However, some credible leaks allow us to learn a little more each week. For now, everyone agrees that the latest Apple M1 home chips will be there, although they are undoubtedly different from the ones we discovered in MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro. We can assume faster processors with many more cores (up to 20 according to some reports) than the portable versions. The cooling capabilities of multifunction computers can also be much better.
Design-wise, the iMac appears to have been overhauled. Thus, we would find flatter screens, thinner edges and a higher screen occupancy rate than before. Leaker Jon Prosser also posted a photo of the iMac available in no less than five colors.

A few days ago, South Korean leak L0vetodream said on Twitter: “The screen of the iMac is really big, bigger than the bigger model”. FYI, iMacs of the moment have a screen diagonal of 21.5 and 27 inches, so Apple was able to switch to 28 or even 32-inch models, but perhaps the tweet also refers to the impression of additional grandeur caused by a high occupancy rate. It’s hard to imagine Apple offering just 32-inch displays that take up a significant amount of space on a table.
We will not stop keeping you informed of the next elements that we have about the iMac, pending the official announcements of the American manufacturer that may be produced in the coming weeks.
