game of Thrones Star Kit Harington made a big donation to a fan fundraiser launched in his honor.
Viewers of HBO's hit program launched an JustGiving site to raise money for Mencap, a charity for learning disabled people, for whom Harington has been patron since 2017 (his cousin has a learning disability).
The fundraiser began to show "Kit that we are incredibly grateful to him for the incredible amount of love and skill he has put into Jon Snow so we can enjoy them."

The site raised more than £ 40,000 over its £ 50,000 target, and Harington added £ 7,728.75 of his money today (June 26) to help them reach that goal.
In addition to his donation, Harington wrote: "I wholeheartedly thank those of you who have created this page on my behalf and those of you who have contributed and left messages.
"This donation page has lifted my heart and brought tears to my eyes, what a wonderful gift to receive … how generous of all of you."
At the time of this writing, donations will still be made.
