Disgruntled Game of Thrones fans have signed a petition to hundreds of thousands to convince the producers to redesign the last series.

WARNING: If you still did not see the last episode, this article contains spoilers!

The backlash comes after many have become angry over the path of one of their favorite characters, Daenerys Targaryen.

Instead of recognizing the surrender of King's Landing, she and her dragon burned down the city in rage.

The massacre of innocent people in the penultimate episode stood in sharp contrast to the prudent and compassionate character developed in the eight episodes.

The petition meets the co-creators and authors of the show, David Benioff and DB Weiss.

It is said that they have "proved to be incompetent writers if they had no source material (ie The Books) to fall back upon."

"This series deserves a closing season that makes sense, undermining and fulfilling my expectations, HBO!" says the creator of the petition, Dylan D.

So far, more than 450,000 have registered on the page change.org.

The petition includes the following from Shakyra Young: "I understand that it's GOT, but we should not throw eight years of character-building in the bin, because what they think will shock and impress us, it sucks."

"I do not want those two near Star Wars either, that was miserable," wrote Dugan Corsolini.

Anthony Lauro wrote, "I sign because Season 7 and 8 were rushed and awkward.

"It's clear that Benioff and Weiss have focused on finishing one of the best shows of all time with the care and care shown in the first six seasons."

Sky News asked the creators of the show for a comment.

Despite the anger of some fans, the show has achieved record ratings.

The latest episode entitled The Bells reached a new high of 18.4 million in the US.

HBO says that the eighth season includes an average of 43 million per episode when recordings, streams, and reps are included.
