San Francisco Anyone who has teenage children has been able to watch the rise of the Roblox gaming platform live since the beginning of the corona pandemic. The biggest fans among the 31.1 million daily active users of the game app are young people.
The stock market prospectus of the company from Silicon Valley cites eight users who shower Roblox with praise: The youngest player is twelve, the oldest 26. Because activities such as going to the stadium or the cinema are omitted, the average Roblox user spends almost three hours a day with them the app.
In March Roblox wants to go on the New York Stock Exchange with a direct listing. This should actually happen in December. Most recently, the company, which was founded in 2006, revised its sales for the first nine months of 2020, published in its November prospectus, upwards: from 589 to 613 million dollars.
