Two people were rescued by emergency services after their glider crashed into a tree.
The aircraft from the nearby Gliding Center landed on Welford Road, Husbands Bosworth, between Market Harborough and Lutterworth.
Firefighters were sent to the scene and the aircraft stabilized before a ladder was used to retrieve the pair.
The A5199 and Sibbertoft Road near Husbands Bosworth were blocked by the police for the rescue.
The aircraft remains in situ in the branches of the tree.
A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said, "We were called today at 11.27 am after a glider climbed into a tree.
"Two devices and our technical rescue unit went to the incident and stabilized the plane before rescuing two people from inside. They were unhurt. "
The aircraft came from The Gliding Center, which was not far from the plane's landing.
LeicestershireLive has contacted The Gliding Center and has been informed that, in due course, a full statement will be posted on the Center's website.
