GoFundMe page set up for young children of the murder victim in the Newmarket

A GofFundMe page has been created to raise funds for the family of a woman murdered in Newmarket.

Clare Nash, 33, was stabbed to death on a property on Brickfields Avenue on Thursday night (January 16).

Police, paramedics and air ambulance service witnessed the accident but was declared dead on the scene.

Heartbreaking tributes are pouring out for her family, while Chiara leaves two children.

A family member, Stacey-Lorraine Roberts, created a GoFundMe to support Clare’s family.

Murder investigation launched in Newmarket

The page says, “I am creating this to raise money for both of the children of the beloved Clare Nash, whose life was taken too early after being murdered.

“Your daughter asked for this GoFundMe to be organized for her and her brother.

“We would just like to raise some money so that both children get financial support. Whatever will be appreciated, the money will never bring their mom back but that will mean that they will have some support.

“Thanks to everyone for reading, I kept it short and sweet as many of you have seen in the whole press. We show a little community spirit.”
