Harry and Meghan have called the police 9 times since moving into their new mansion

Since the arrival of the prince Harry Y Meghan Markle to Santa Barbara County, the local sheriff’s office has had to respond to multiple calls and requests coming from the couple’s mansion.

Agents have visited his home at least nine times since July last year, according to the British newspaper. The Guardian.

Santa Barbara is the area in which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex currently reside and in which they granted the controversial interview to the presenter Oprah Winfrey. Among other things, they said they fear for their safety and that of their son now that the royal family no longer finances the security equipment that protects them.

Although the majority of the calls have been for the activation of the alarm, at least two of the recorded calls are related to more serious incidents.

On December 24 at 4:13 pm, the authorities received a call in which the person on the phone claimed that an intruder had entered the mansion. Two days later, police returned to the residence at 2:54 pm, after property damage was reported.

The most recent call apparently occurred on February 16 at 2:21 am due to the house alarm going back on.

A spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office declined to provide further details on the reports obtained under freedom of information laws, according to the British newspaper.

The couple, together with their firstborn Archie, moved to the city of Montecito, California, after his short stay in Los Angeles after leaving his temporary home in Canada in early March of last year.
