Kanye West wants what she wants.
On Thursday (April 2), Kanye traveled to McDonald’s to grab a bite to eat amid the coronavirus pandemic, a crisis that has led to states like New York and California to issue residence orders to stop the spread of the virus. According to TMZ, this was Yeezy’s first sighting since California issued his residence orders.
Kanye’s visit to Mickey D rubbed some people the wrong way. After the photo of Kanye with McDonald’s articles hit the web, people on Twitter started calling the rapper.
“@Kanyewest If you’re going to be selfish and go outside, don’t waste that trip on @McDonalds hit @ChefGreeny,” wrote a Twitter user.
While some people are trying to call Kanye, the rapper reportedly did his part to help those in need during this global pandemic, which saw over 1 million people test positive for the virus. Late last month, Ye reportedly donated to charities in Los Angeles and Chicago to help feed children and the elderly.
Celebrities have found several ways to pass the time during this global crisis. Artists like Quavo, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Future and DJ Khaled have dedicated resources to help those in need in these uncertain times. In addition to monetary donations, hip-hop stars also donated meals, masks, gloves, PPE kits and other items that have been helpful in the fight against the COVID-19 virus.
